Communal apartement

There are still communal apartments in Russia, I lived in one of them. One family lived in each of the five rooms. There were 5 gas stoves in the kitchen. And there was one telephone around which all life outside our small community was centered. A notebook with the phones of people who could buy something scarce.

Phone numbers were written on the wall when they could not find a notebook. These inscriptions are like rock paintings from the Chauvet cave. They will remain under the layers of new wallpaper and will be discovered by the last owners during the renovation.
